Key in ignition, turn as normal, dash lights come on, but no starter, nothing, message on the dash display between tach and speedometer says "Please wait" Turn key back and forth more times, nothing. Remove key and re-insert, starts normally. Same with two different keys. Odd or ominous? Thank you. | ||

Also time or temp sensitive, left alone for a few hours or overnight will start normally. If temp, any chance that might be related to the crankshaft position sensor? Thank you. | ||

Off to the dealer, they "resynched" the keys, good for 7 days, same problem back again. Oddly the restraint system failure warning came on back when the vehicle was declining to start with the first key turn. That was also addressed by the dealer, supposedly was a bad connection but at the same time the no start recurred so did the restraint system failure warning. | ||

However, the dealership did not adequately tell the vehicle computer about the new ignition so when started I got a message on the screen "Anti-theft protection activated". No back up camera, radio, navigation, etc. Back to the dealership. | ||

However, when the dealership replaced the ignition switch they did not alert the vehicle computer so when I started it I got a message on the screen, "Anti-theft protection activated" No back up camera, navigation, radio etc. Back to the dealership. | ||
