I do feel the urge to make a Ugo 4x4 after seeing the first video. Those people are really Extreme but if you really understand mudding they also REALLY knew what they were doing. The skill level was way up there. Notice how lame the Hummer "off road" course was. let me see them going where the others went. My Gwagon got stuck just watching the videos Edited by 230G 6/20/2006 8:20 AM

Handling winch wires with bare hands? Ouch!!! I love the Latvian techno music. That was some serious 4x4ing.

Competition offroading here is faster (no trees remember ), deals with steep and loose slopes and the svamps and rivers are so deep that without hydroplaning you dont stand a chance. There is a valid video link at the middle of the page: http://www.4x4offroads.com/formula-off-road-2002-season.html This is not my sport, and Im in no way connected to this webpage but it is worthwhile for all 4x4 drivers to speculate on the suspension and stability of those vehicles....

Braingears - 6/20/2006 10:00 PM Did you notice the Unimog at the top of the hill? Unimogs... Are nice tractors but a cruel form of transporting passangers. Very good for crossing fast and deep rivers and in conditions where you can reach solid and not to steep ground. Useless in snow unless it has a snowblower in front!
