I cannot think of anyone who actually carries an additional water pump or accelerator & hand brake cable.

I cannot think of anyone who actually carries an additional water pump or accelerator & hand brake cable. Well on that one I got stuck on a mountain track with the water pump pissing water, and once in the Namibian desert after a long stretch along the beach, two days later, still in the desert the hand break cable snapped (rust from the salt) since then I always take one of them along.....needless to say I never had any problems.....Murphy's law I guess amzimmy
