Am I looking at a new transmission or should I rebuild? Please give me some advise. Thank you  Manual? Check the rubber bushings in the flat shift levers on the side of the transmission. Cheap fix!

But if that all looks good it also is possible to have the shift lever mechanism fail and not give you reverse. Still cheaper and easier than the transmission itself. Have someone shift in and out of reverse while you watch the shift linkage rods at the control end and at the transmission. There are unique little clips that hold them on with the rubber bushings that Dutch described. Make sure all is working there before suspecting the transmission. -Dai
