I really wanted to cover the both side of the original gas tank that are exposed because there are many scratches from rocks on the exposed area. ORC's tank protection covers the tank quite well but still small side area is exposed. I'll report how this protects gas tank soon! Last picture is new addition to my toys. This is Suzuki Jimny. Samurai is discontinued in US but we still have them with rigid axles with coil springs. Here in Japan, we have two engine choices, 660cc intercooled turbo(65hp) or 1300cc (88hp). Mine is 1300cc. 1300cc gets wide track axle and wide fenders. At first glance, many people underestimate the potential of this little beast. Even with such a small tires, this runs almost everywhere I could go in my G. KERR, I love these tires. When brand new, rugs are very tall which give you soft ride and not so good road handling. Now that I have almost 30K kilometers(about 18K miles) on them, tread is 4mm shorter than new. On the pavement, I have very sharp handling and runs good. I can comfortably drive above 100mph. I was not comfortabl to cruise at that speed when tires are new. In offroad, I still get very good traction. Mark, Check below thread for rocker protection. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/g-class/1233052-rocker-protection.h... It took me a while to come up with this idea. Yasu | ||
