Go/No-Go Gauge for Checking Supporting Joint

In my quest for identifying an unknown noise Left Front Suspension Area, I checked out the Supporting Joint.

After "Visually" checking for Damage the Rubber "Boot", you can use a prybar to wiggle the Joint. Specs say "1mm" of play is OK.

You can also supplement your exam by using this Go/No-Go Gauge to see if the Joint is OK.

If you can *COMPLETELY* Slide the Gauge onto the Joint, it must be changed.

As you can see, my joint is OK... I *CAN'T* fit the Joint into the Gauge Opening.
