I know MBUSA says "BI-Annual", I prescribe to the Euro-WIS ANNUAL Interval... Especially Living in a very Hot & HUMID Environ. It's not a big deal when you get everything set up... then I can do all 5 Vehicles at once. I use the MB Brake Fluid... I'm sure there are several other options out there... it's just what I like. I tried something "different" this year: I am using the Hipine "Retrograde" Bleeding of the Differential system, since the Differential Reservoir is not quite as "Robust" as the Brake Reservoir, it makes me a bit nervous Pressurizing the Diff system to 2 Bar. I have heard stories of the Tubing becoming dislodged, making quite the mess. Using the Specially Designed ATE Bleeding Nipple Adapter for this procedure makes it a Snap!! Please remember to work Safely... and Test the Brake PRIOR to venturing onto the Roadways! NOTE: This is for a 2004 G55! Check your manual for your particulars. Seeing the pictures reminds me of a question I've always harbored: Why is the locker slave cylinder bleeder at the *bottom*, rather than the top? It seems like having the bleeder at the bottom guarantees that a bubble will always stay in the system. Is it just to protect the pipe?

The Good News is the "Hipine" Method will Solve that Problem, by Blowing any Floating Bubbles UP-STREAM.

The bottom for draining off accumulated gunk and water and the top for bleeding off air buubles!

Is it a hand vacuum pump arrangement? Must be better than my tipping in and overflowing/wiping up method. Did the brakes on my w460 and w463. Had to bleed them twice in both cases. Important thing is bubble free and not opening bleeder too much. Slowly does it and in the correct order as detailed.

I'm sure one could easily fashion something similar for a garden sprayer-type brake bleeding set-up. Here is the ATE reference: http://www.ate-info.de/de/products/datasheet/zubehoerset-mineraloel...

I used a gunson easybleed on my defender 110; the brake master cylinder looked a little "crazy paved" cracked, but I connected a low pressure-pumped up tyre to it, and the friggin thing exploded.... brake fluid all over me and my paintwork (luckily nothing happened; I washed it all down quickly), but it could have gone in my eyes and knackered the paint, so be careful out there folks!
