 | BAS & ESP warning with ABS light for Steering Angle Sensor - Replaced NO Joy
Working in a 2002 G500 that I have had for 15 years. Been a great truck. ESP and BAS flashing on display along with a ABS light. Hooked up Xentry/DAS and I getting a fault for the steering angle sensor. When looking at live data the steering angle sensor is picking up everything and registers every 2.5 degrees when I turn the wheels so it appears to be working. I did order a new factory steering angle sensor and replaced it and synced it properly but still getting the error after driving it.

Any ideas WIS just states to diagnose is not really in-depth just about checking to see if the angle sensor is registering which both sensors were...has anyone has this problem.

Update I puled the BAS/ESP module under the passenger side front carpet as the signal from the steering angle sensor goes directly to the BAS/ESP module according to WIS. I puled the module and cleaned the connections, reset the system then and problem is fixed. Hope this can help the next guy.
