After eliminating the Sway-Bar Links, I opted to Remove/Replace the Shock, taking the car for a Ride with the Shock OFF. Lo' & Behold, with the Shock OFF, the Rattle went away. Hmmm, Now I'm COFUSED! The Shock Checked out FINE, as you can see, measuring Multiples beyond the required 20mm. Sooo, I opted to just Re-Install, and call it a day. Just for "Kicks", I put some of the Swanky MB Rubber Grease on the Rubber Parts, and also thought I would try installing the Shock in the "Opposite" orientation it was in... Well, to my pleasant surprise... Upon Re-Install, the Noise is GONE!. Go Figure... Anyhoooo, I'll Follow-Up if the noise reoccurs.. G | ||
