om617.952 WIS for timing chain tensioner rail removal

Is it possible to remove the tensioner rail with the head on the motor, or will it not come out through the head open8ng?

Also, do I need to remove the main crank pulley to get the retaining bolt out?

I am not talking about the one on the other side with the slide rail pin. The one I am talking about is curved and pushes against the chain to tension the chain.

Thanks.

The banana rail can be removed with the head on. The crank pulley and idler sprocket (in the head) must be removed to extract the retaining pin.
