Save yourself alot of $$ and do yourself. The only trick was getting the "Click"-Type reusable hose clamps off. I compressed the clamp, then flipped the "lip" off with a small screwdriver. The filter should be changed at 4yr/50,000 mile intervals. This DIY is for the 1999 S420. The usual CYA blah, blah stuff. I am not claiming any expertise. My projects are based on my interpretation of the WIS procedures. Do work at your own discretion.
