A Request from Your Host

Please go to "My Profile", which is located above and to the left. Please:

1.) Fill in what vehicle you're driving. It makes it much easier for those who are tying to help with your questions, when we can see this at a glance. (Did you notice that this piece of info has been dropped from the new old forum software?)
2.) Fill in the blank that tells us where you are. This also helps us helpers when recommending sources for parts, repair, etc.
3.) Tick the box that gives permission to send you an email notification when you've received a Private Message. That PM announcement at the upper right is not quite as easy to spot in this software, so the email notification will let you know you've received one.

Thanks for helping us to help you!

Happy Trails!!

Re: A Request from Your Host

Is it just me or do we not receive email updates when someone replies to a post we're participating in? There doesn't seem to be an option to enable/disable - though there is for PMs.

To the right, just above this message is a drop down menu called "Topic Tools". The option is there.

Re: A Request from Your Host

So does it have to be done manually for each topic we're invovled in? There is no global setting?

Also why are some posts red and others not?

That's where you have to go into My Profile and click on the Unsub from Topics link.
