carolina new be Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | question about tranny was told by a local mechanic that the tranny fluid level can be checked without using the tranny fill/measuring dipstick tube. is this true ? i think the mechanic is shooting me some bull ?? as from what i have read the proper way to check tranny is through the fill/measuring dipstic tube. thanks cnb w163.1 chassis 722.6 tranny 25 nov 1997 delivery date | ||

I don't know of any sensors in the transmission, only the engine oil level sensor. | ||
