Mercedes announced that the SPRINTER will now be sold at dealers as a MERCEDES-BENZ badged vehicle instead of a DODGE. No details of where the dealerships would be located. |

Gee, will this put all the guys who rebadge Dodges into MB Sprinters out of business? Wonder how much the price will go up...to reflect the improved German engineering, of course. |

In actuality, there was a 6% across the board price decrease for the MB Sprinter in 2010.
Also, the Sprinter is still being sold under both the Freightliner and the MB marques. |

My understanding is that Sprinter sales and marketing are handled under DTNA and not MBUSA.
Maybe a utilitarian G-class could be done the same way. |
