I have one on mine. It does not work but I have not tracked down why yet.

Re: rear fog light

I found the unit was not available through Mercedes. The parts have been "upgraded" to a different unit. I ordered one and it is a nice light but not the same and will not go in the same spot/bolt holes/wiring. My lens was broken by the spare tire crunching it. I found that the guy who is 'fourbyfourclub' with the parts on Ebay had the lens. I bought one from him and it is correct. He might read this post or you may want to PM him and see if he can get the complete unit. I really like mine. I wired it into the brake light circuit and it is a third light facing the following driver directy in the eyes. A "please don't rear end my truck" device. In the later trucks with the rotary headlight switch the circuit is a "fog tailight" turned on by pulling the switch out after clicking it to a park or headlight position. There are two clicks out for different devices. One is for driving lights/or front fog lights and the all the way out position is the 'fog taillight' position that should illuminate an orange light in the center of the knob. That is how mine was set up anyway. As I said I directly wired it into the rear brake circuit. It's bright, its RED!

Re: rear fog light

Dai,

How much was your unit? Is it shaped like the older models? I have not looked it up on my EPC, but should see if I can find it there. Perhaps Shawn has access?

Best wishes,
