Okay, so I'm photo bias, but I'd think that most of us would love to be able to look at images of each others machines with ease - instead of visiting other forums A poll perhaps? And if the masses decided to not have one then so be it? Thanks Sean

Edit: Photoman, I've just had a look at your album and I think it's time for an update mate ;) Not the same as having everyone's Gs in a single thread - and yes my album is way out of date LOL In fact I had forgotten all about it!

This has been proposed and declined before. For those who use the Threaded Forum Format (which is one of the nice features of this forum software) to read the forum, a long sticky thread results in having to scroll through several screens before reaching the new posts on the forum; which is just not practical. And then there's the other problem of non-photo messages loading up the thread. Perhaps I can set up a separate forum for photos, in addition to the regular album section. Let me give that some consideration.

Ouch Photoman! You could always start a "photos" thread and it can live at or near the top as long as it is necessary to- IE - it will stay alive as long as people post to it like anything else and eventually, usually by the time we are all sick of looking at it, it will pass down to its rightful archival location. No real need to be a sticky. Just a thought.

hipine Date registered: Jul 2006 Location: US, CO, Bailey Vehicle(s): 460 1980 280GE w. 617A | RE: Sticky Picture Thread Please Dutch One other suggestion. Maybe sticky a single locked message with a link to the photo thread. I HATE opening up to find a major portion of the first page of the forum dedicated to a picture thread. Its bad enough when they come up when they get bumped, but they go away pretty quick so okay. Personally, couldn't care less about pix of trux, but if others want it fine, just do it without inconveniinecing the whole forum. And please please please put small photos in. Even the "engine pix" thread is too big and takes too long to open. Just me. -Dave G.
