| Rear seat removal in 03 G500
Hi everyone,
this is my first post here on the "new" forums :-)
I will be taking my 03 G500 to Utah on a week-long trip, and would like to remove the rear seats to gain more cargo room, and perhaps be able to sleep in the back for a night or two.
Has anyone done this before, and if so what is involved in doing so? Probably have to disconnect the electricals for the heated seats.
How difficult is it reinstalling the seats back in?

If he hasn't made it to this forum yet, there's a fellow who made several of the special tool that is required to remove the mounting pins. He even had instructions on how to do so.

I'm here Dutch, the problem is that I gave the last one to Sean in Georgia. I do not plan to make anymore at this time. Sean mentioned that he would loan some of the speciality tools for his customers to use. I have his email: sean@eurotruck-importers.com and his web site is:

Just curious as to what the tool looks like? I can probably fabricate one as I own a small machine shop.
