This is a good time to consider changing to the new style engine and transfer case mounts. Both really are better than the old style. Once you put the new style t-case mounts on your chassis (only left side chages) all you need to do is change the left side cover of the t-case to the new style and you get better vibration handling. The newer style trapezoidal engine mounts are also stronger and better vibration isolators than the old round ones. If I were giving my G a make-over like that I'd defintely update those two points like the factory did. Thanks for bringing an old G back to life! -Dave G. | ||
