The weather was perfect at 68F (20C) with light winds and a few clouds. The desert flowers were starting to bloom. There was color everywhere. We were in Anza Borrego at the end of March and had a lot of bloom that week also. Your pic of the Ocatillo is beatiful, we saw alot of Cholla and Barrel cactus in bloom too, as well as the groundcover.
