RE: Organ Pipe National Monument - Arizona

Very nice!

Did you have any problems with the night traffic being so close to the border?

None except for the occasional drone of a USBP helicopter passing nearby. The recent spat of trouble south of the Texas border has increased patrols along the border. We were stopped numerous times for questioning and often a quick look-see inside the G. One of the BP officers said that we had set off sensors when we left the trail. I don't know where, but evidently it got their attention.
