The super bright LED cargo area light conversion really help finding the needed ingredients for the soup - beer. Do you like the clamshell? Yes, I do like the Hannibal set-up together with my now aluminum built tent carrier. You are a bit more protected from foul weather under the clamshell and it's quite cozy in there. I do like the fact, leaving the bedding in there when closing the tent and be ready quickly for the next G-wagen adventure. Very easy access with the new G-wagen rear access ladder (shameless plug) http://www.g-wagenaccessories.com/Pages/roof%20ladder.htm but I couldn't reach the Engel fridge from up there  Karl | |

I was also standing on the spare wheel, but I do feature the nice Spare wheel cover on my rig - below! That why I have the new 10 Gallon water tank close to the spare wheel, and remember that water tank spigot has a hose connection....  Karl | |

I have the new 460 version Baja ladder on my G, and love it. Thanks to Karl I now have the roof rack AND the ladder. It is a great combo for my LWB G. I have send Karl some photos, but will post here if I can figure out the method. Best wishes, Tom | |
