R.I.P. - 1 more G that left this world... :-)

I don't know if this topic already exists but I think we should make a memorial to those G's that are no longer arround us...

This one will continue to live inside another G...

Shoot, a fresh coat of paint maybe a new grill and she's good as new.

what in gods name happened to this G? Looks like it went off of a cliff and landed on a boulder before continuing a roll yet further down.

That was one of the things…

Look how the engine is, and also the chassis bent a lot.

Inside all dashboard bent, the gearbox is ok but forced the tunnel up and destroyed the AC.

From the all body only saved the rear door and 1 panel, the rest was useless.

But now at least I have a lot of mechanical parts in stock including the axles, gearbox (5 speed), engine and other small parts.

That 3rd photo looks like the G is very sad and looking down in shame.

I laughed when I saw the first picture because it looks like the grill suddenly just fell off after sitting there for a while.

It hit a concrete block...

Then rolled out of the road...

It was from a friend that has a farm… one of his employees took the keys (without authorisation) one night, after some drinking… this happened.

He got away without a scratch…

RE: R.I.P. - 1 more G that left this world... :-)

This 280 was following a montain bikes race here, in Italy, with a doctor aboard.

Suddenly the "road" has caved in and the G has rolled off for several tens of meters, finally stopping against a tree (fortunately the ultimate impact was with the frame and not with the cabin).

The two occupants of the car reported no consequences (except for a BIG scare ), the G instead ...

even though these G-wagons are made of steel and have such a domineering stance/frame they crush easier than I would have thought...maybe I've seen the mercedes crash test commercial too much.
