Another interesting G 270 Double Cab returned to Graz

Hola G-afficionados - again a nice find (Thank you Luky - you're the man!). One of the very few G 270 "Workers" (by that time called Greenline as well) with a wheelbase of 3428mm, axles with a width of 1555mm, overall weight of 5t metric tons, electric winch, auxiliary WEBASTO heating, A/C, 17,5 x 6,75 SÜDRAD steel wheels, alloy bed...first registered in the year 2006. The car is undergoing some fine tuning and is getting all works updates and will then be for sale at Tschiewagon in Graz. As usual find photos enclosed - raicar:

RE: Another interesting G 270 Double Cab returned to Graz

When talking about finds, here is my latest one, 2008 G280CDI Greenline 9-seater(officially only 5-seater, but still better than the 4-seaters Mercedes offers to civilian customers), 0 kms and a lot of extras.

Also if I have correct information, there are two more DoKas waiting in the mountains of Slovakia Including a 280CDI.

Here are pictures of the second DoKa, which can be see in the background, has a V8 from a W126(not sure if 500 or 560, probably Raiko knows more) and a PTO winch.

RE: Another interesting G 270 Double Cab returned to Graz

Correct - it's a Defender 130 bed and the winch had a Land Rover badge as well. As Luky already pointed out, this is a PTO (hydraulic) winch. The hydraulic pump is driven via a VG 080 transfer case. The engine is a M117 V8 (out of a 560 SEL) mated to a stock 4-speed auto gearbox. The buyer did offer the car just lately on eBay. I'm not in the know, what price he's looking to get.

raicar

P.S. The car hasn't got catalyzers. It won't be easy to register it within parts of Europe.

Hi Jeremy - the tan one is a nice, senseless gas guzzler! If I were you, I'd pick the green DoKa over any GE 320 or GE 300 with a retrofitted OM 606.....
...you obviously have a dream!

I'd pick up the green DoKa if I could.
I have a dream for sure...just not enough $$ to make it happen, nor do I live in the right country to make it happen.
