An Aussie get-together

Meeting some new G-wagen friends in South East Queensland on an unseasonably wet day.

Possibly the biggest ever gathering of G's in this region.

do you know the name of the blue & the sand colored one at the end?

are shorts more popular than LWBs in australia?

I think there are more LWB than SWB here, its just quite a few RHD G's have been imported from Japan recently.  Mercedes Australia stopped inporting G's in 1988 so the Japanese ones are getting popular.  They usually have higher specs and low mileage.

The blue one (mine) is "Lapis Blue"  The sand one is "Colorado Beige" - also known locally as "bulldust"  Same owner from new (1981) who ordered it with his specific options and picked it up from Stuttgart, then back to England then onto Australia.  One of the first in the country.
