As for the saddle veggie tank, I basically created one tank from the two. I kept the original main fuel tank stock, I then removed the passenger side saddle tank 's (never installed in my vehicle) fill neck and welded it on to the drivers side saddle tank to create a seperate stand alone tank, fitted a fuel line outlet, breather line and a return fuel line. I realize it is only 13L but I will only use it for a few moments warm up and to flush out the system, so I should be able to get a week or two driving based on that useage. I wanted to get away from having a tank inside my vehicle or underneath where it would be vunerable to damage, I also wanted to maintain the stock look and have the same filler on both sides. As for heating the original plastic tank I have decided to go with an external coolant heated plate exchanger plumbed in with a three way valve to recycle the veggie oil in a loop through the plate exchanger and back to the tank. I will take pics and update the veggie install as it progresses. Gotsta add a Vegtherm though. I swear, I don't make any money saying so. Cheap, easy to install, effective, hot. It'll help tremendously when you switch over to straight veg. http://www.plantdrive.com/shop/product.php?productid=16201&cat=250&... Nice truck. Love the window switches. | ||
