| TWODOGS Extreme Veteran Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: UK Vehicle(s): Norwegian Army 240GD Posts: 584  | Another Norwegian Army 240GD Hello all  About four years back I went to Norway brought a Norwegian Army 240GD played with it for a year and sold it to Thomas in Germany and regretted it since... So the time had come to buy another one and drive it back to the UK found one for sale at the right price at a Mercedes dealership a part- ex that they wanted rid of that's my sort or project ,,, yarrrrrr A quick flight out of London to Oslo then a bus up north , Norway what a fantastic place , Turned out the Dealership service up to 300 Norwegian Army Gs a year including some 290GDs used for royal protection there were also some ex Afghanistan 240Gds that they were using for spares. Picked up my painted black 240GD and started the long drive home , Norway , Denmark then a ferry to the UK great fun  Got it home no problems , came with all the winterization kit , webasto , cover over the radiator , engine block heater , two sets of snow chains, extra set of studded tyres , covers for all the windows , and the Army operating manuals . Well happy , repainted it green not really happy with the colour so it will get repainted Norwegian army green next year .
