Good peeps, great adventure, dust, hot springs, a quick rescue, then home again. We're sooo lucky. Route for the trip was Trona>Keeler>Cerro Gordo>Hunter Mountain>Hidden Valley>Racetrack>Lippencott>Saline Valley>Steel Pass>Dedekera>Eureka Dunes.... The other exemplary travel mates were Alan McR and Desertstar. I hope to have many more adventures with these guys. Simply the best. | ||

The person on the dune looks way more like Lawrence of Arabia from here, but then the flowing robes and camel are lacking. Nice pictures, Steve. We were at the trail head in February (last year) of the Race Track the night of a storm - rain and high wind!!! I am sure these were the perfect conditions for large rocks to be moved around on the old lake floor. Has anyone ever witnessed these rock moving events? Tom | ||
