THis computes to a lift of 33mm front and 21 mm rear at load of 5000N. Will this modification add noticable vibration ?? PEter Merle

A lift may cause new and unwanted driveline vibration because the joints have developed a wear pattern that is used to the current suspension travel. The 460 SWB has very short rear driveshafts and that is probably where this problem will be most noticable. I still haven't solved my front issue. Mine seems to be 'special'. I have a much greater lift than your plan. -Dai

I like controled suspension and firm suspention gives greater control but at the price of a little less axle articulation. The truck carries heavy loads often and the trucks themselves are heavy. I think I will try to get shocks with some adjustability for dampening. Motorcycle suspension systems that are excelllent have compression and rebound dampening adjustabliity. I think the Koni's have some adjustability as do some of the Goetch shocks. Suspension softens over time so starting pretty firm might be a good idea. This is the direction I am leaning. -Dai
