| What center rod assembly for W460 (1982)
When the dealer wants $1,100 for a tie rod assembly and it will take a month to receive, and one can purchase them from overseas for 25% the price, I shop overseas. But my current parts are disappointing. I bought a Moog ME-DL-6989 centre rod assembly which has 18mm cones. On removal, I find I have 20 mm cones. Return shipping to Europe costs too much, so looks like I have surplus new stock.
But what do I replace it with? Or does someone make 2mm cone adaptor sleeves? Any suggestions on vendors?
