Help - G300 gas door not opening

I understand there a panel somewhere at the back for opening. I've seen a pdf but it's so hard to see identify where this is. For the RHD is it on the right or left. I've also got the extra seats at the back. Are they in the way?

If I remember correctly. You pull the weatherstrip off the right rear door frame edge. The simply lift out the back panel. There is a pull strap that when pulled releases the gas door lock. Your door lock motor is probably bad.

RE: Help - G300 gas door not opening

I found it eventually but as it happens, the mechanism had gotten really stiff so the pull strap won't do it.
I had to take off the panel like you have shown in the photo and "helped" it along and it's working.
The only issue is that I'm not sure how to put the top part of the back seat I had to unbolt
