IRR - starter immoblizer system , central locking won’t start

Hi Everyone.
I purchased new relays from MB and a few other sources and changed most of them as they are almost 30 years old.

My 93 500GE has a IRR sensor in the roof that locks and unlocks the doors and also acts as a anti theft device to disable the ignition.

I disconnected the battery when I changed the relays. Now the doors will not lock/ unlock and while the dash lights come on when I turn the key, it will not start.

How do I reprogram the system so it will recognize the new (door lock/ unlock relay) or some other new relay that has the ignition in anti theft mode?

I even put the original central lock relay back in, with no luck.

My key only has one button to push to lock and unlock the doors. Also, when I use the key I. The door, the central locking does not open and close now.

Thanks.
Alex

Answer. I pulled the relays and put them back in and it works. Must have been a bad connection.

Close call. Glad it was an easy fix.
