| Today I went looking
In the early 2000's I visited a dealer's shop in Georgia with a Gwagen group.
He offered accessories and I liked his inventory.
This week I visited https://www.g-wagenaccessories.com/
My reason for the visit was that I would like to have a set of mud flaps like the ones I had on my 2002 G500.
I am hoping they can find the ones that fit and mount on the 2016 G550.
Last week I had a moment of shock when I felt the steering wheel give me that old time feeling of shimmy.
Best I remember I put two on my 2002 G500 over the 14 years of ownership.
The shimmy only lasted for a few seconds, but it got my attention.
While looking at their site, I noticed a steering stabilizer add on for the G's up to the 2018 models.
I am thinking the add on would work for me.
I am waiting to hear from my inquiry to them.

I would recommend getting your tires re-balanced or better yet road force balanced as that is likely the cause of your wobble. The steering stabilizer only minimizes the wobble. It does not prevent it or cause it in its absence. I drove with 32" tires on my 280GE for a full year with no stabilizer and no wobbles. Now I have the 463 version on it.
There is also a Bilstein stabilizer that I am using on my G500 camper which I learned about in a thread here. Bilstein 24-105804.

The Fox steering damper mounting position looks quite low and exposed to me but would probably be good for pot holed roads.
The rear flaps are nice for keeping dirt. mud, and small rocks down. But, they can get caught and torn off on drop offs and wash outs if you are on really bad roads or trails. I use front and rear mud flaps and lose them occasionally. |

If you check his site out, you will see his new item for seat removal.
I hope he sells a lot of them.
I still hope they can find a set of mud flaps for me.

The rear flaps are standard for all 460 and 463 before 463a.
The 463 front flaps are different for vehicles with and without running boards.
Do you have the factory running boards still?
The seat tool is a lot like the one you made for me.
