Transmission problem diagnosing and possible repair?

Good day to all.
2006 G270 CDI. Transmission started acting up this morning. Last time I drove it 2 days ago and there was no issues or warning signs whatsoever.
First, second and third take too high rpm's to shift up; no upshift past third gear. Manual downshift works, upshift - no.
No CEL. No fluid leak.
I dont have access to SDS unfortunately.
What are the chances of bad conductor plate? Should I just take a chance and replace it? Other options and advices?
Thanks in advance.
