Installation is a real pain. The actuators (2) have to go through the wiring tunnel next to the Brake booster. They are approximately the size of 35mm film cans. In production, I'd guess that these are the first items to be put through the tunnel. | ||

If you have a broken system you simply need item 29 (in the picture). You haven't exactly said what the problem is. If there is a leak in the system you will need to replace it. I tried every way I could think of to refill, seal and bleed the system. Many hours of wasted effort. I wish they had simply reused the vacuum system from the sedans. These are easy to diagnose and fix. Here the diagnosis is easy the fix is always: replace.g | ||

nadd Expert Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: UAE, Dubai Vehicle(s): G500 2016 LHD, numerous Chevys Posts: 1285 | Re: Head Lights Control i agree, this seems to be one of the poorest-design things in the later Gs, they always seem to go wrong after 3-4yrs, along with the rubber accordion-like gaiters that protect the cabling between the body and door, the round ones on the early 463s outlast the rectangular ones on the later G500, though admittedly they might not be large enough for all the electric seat control wiring. | ||
