| Busted window regulator
I hope this is not the begining to endless repairs. Is this DIY? Do I have to remove the window rail shown in Pleubner's writeup? i have no access to a rivet gun, so I will have to bring it into a shop... At least the sunroof is working(for now?). It's a 2002 320. |

From what I remember, yes, you did need to remove or at least loosen one end of the window rail. It really wasn't that hard of a DIY. You can buy a <$20 rivet gun at your local hardware store. MBZ sold me the rivets. I see there are a few regulators on Ebay (see item 130019941816, etc). Best of luck! |

I have 2 vans, both with the same problem. Do either of you know where Pleubner's original post was? I searched Pleubner window rail without luck... |
