It's soooo beautiful....!!

James May thinks it's the worlds first supercar...and I agree.

God, Animals, that vid is heaven!

Agree with you both, nothing else from 50 yrs ago can touch it.

And I like the guitar music.  Only one piece did I not recognize, that was the short snippet with whistling.

So I guess that was the German sample!

Hm.. I've taken a liking to Chrysler cars from the late 40s-- GORGEOUS creatures they are!

A 3.0 L inline six – for Daimler-Benz it was the perfect size and configuration. All of MB’s great inline sixes for the next 35 years started with the M198.

yes, what is that snippet with whistling - David Hasselhoff performing German Pop?

I did not see a Gullwing but I did see a signal red 300SL last fall nonchalantly cruising the neighborhood.  They are beautiful.

The vid showed but had no mention of it; I had no idea steering wheel unhinged like that - perhaps to facilitate getting in and out of the seat.

I saw a white one cruising Daytona Beach last Christmas.

I watched this vid again. I like the Eric Clapton song. Goes well with the 300SL I think.
