It has beeen weeks now......my 91 300GE is just hanging there....The gearing change teaches you patience for sure! Finding all the parts you need seems to be easy, at least the big chunks but there are a few things you might overlook. The latest hold-up (no guns, but part#'s) was a little spacer bushing. Everything is set to go, the gears are ready, the backlash is correctly dialed in - thank you Dai, for your assortment of shims/spacers - the chase is over for the correct pinion seal (yes, there is only one seal now instead of two - thank you Sean/Eurotruck for solving that mystery) and then the sudden stop in the progress lane. The new pinion gear must have undergone a slight design change - same bearings, same lenght, same seal diameter but a little bit larger shaft diameter between the two bearings. Nobody looked at that real close, it went undetected until final installation time came arouund. The old crush spacer bushing (A 108 353 00 42) would not fit any longer, a new spacer tube (A 639 353 00 53) in now needed with the new pinion gear!  A few phone calls later - none of these desperate needed parts were found anywhere in the New World - back to Sean at Eurotruck to get them from the Fatherland. Finally, after a quite period at the G, the little things arrived and this humbled keeper/owner handed the loot over to the master of all diff's, gear's and so on......Soon it will be
