your car is looking great mbnz230. I love those 97 taillights. They look awesome. Great Quality pic too. Most cell phones can't get that much detail.

thanks, it is pretty good for a cellphone. i think the w140 is better looking in real live than in pics. the reason for it is because you can compare it to other cars on the road and nothing really matches the w140's size and quality. i should really do another decent photo shoot with high resolution. need to find some places to shoot in Maine. cheers

what did you're winter wheels look like? Were they the stock rims? You are definitely right about the W140 vs. everything else. The W140 in general just has so much presence. For me, it is like an event everytime you see one, LOL. These cars are great.

I really like the upgrades you have done. The 97 taillights, S600 grille, and rims look awesome.

I remember you switched your clear corners for ones without reflectors. Which do you think are better? the clear corners with or without the reflectors. I am considering switching them since they are pretty inexpensive. The only problem, is that I have to find the sellers that sell them without the reflectors.

Here's a pic of my W140 with the reflectors. Also, I finally bought an S600 Grille. :

yes they are the stock wheels, just like your except its not chrome. i like the clear corners without the reflector piece better. you kown when you turn on your signal lights at night the reflector blocks most of the light and the one without you can see the bulb light up. when you see your cars relection on the storefront glass windows you will be able to see the amber glow from bulbs whereas before the bulbs are hardly visible. i also mention before the molding didnt fit at all and had to use the oem signal molding to make it fit. so watch out for that...

your s500 looks real clean. but i like yours better with the all black/blue paint. oh yeah and the v8  . my v6 engine most of the times its kinda slow but mostly under 50mph, once on the highway it flys. and these bigger wheels are slowing it down more. 50lbs each. i bet they would be perfect on the 500/600 power wise.

ah, I see. Yea, the previous owner of my car put on chrome stock rims, and painted the bottom portion all black. I was just lucky to get that, as most people don't do that. That's all you need to do, and your car will be the best on the road.

I understand what you mean about the clear corners. You are right how it does not seem to be that bright, because of the reflector.

Yea, the V8 is great, but I'm sure your S320 does much better with gas mileage. Especially in CA, there is never any place to fully use your car's power. Most of the time, it is just stop and go traffic, so the V8 hurts, especially when the gas prices are almost at 4 bucks a gallon here.

That is interesting about your rims. How much heavier are they than the stock rims?

I just need some nice rims, 97 taillights, and those clear corners without the reflectors, and my car will look as good as yours does. I really love what you have done to your car; it really looks awesome.

By the way, what color interior do you have? It looks cool. Is it Parchment/Tan or Gray?

yea, they are definitely worth it. They really look awesome.

Black/Tan is a very rare color combo. I've always liked that combo, because it seems to be a rare combo. Matches nicely together. I've got Gray interior, which I like, but I like the idea of the Parchment/Tan interior much better. Seems to fit well together.

Those are some great pics. Your W140 looks stunning.

thanks... is black on tan really that rare? i thought exactly the opposite, i thought they were the most common. i like gray too, our c230 has gray leather. also i think these are pretty good quality pics for a $100 camera.

Well, from what I have seen in the past, I have seen a lot of Black/ Grey W140's, but not as many Black/Tan W140s. I always thought that this color combo was cool. It is possible that this is not such a rare color, but whatever the case, it is really a great color combo.

Yea, those are definitely some high quality pictures, considering your camera is only $100. How many megapixels is it?
