Changing engine air filter 2007 ml500

Wanted to check the air filter and it looks like the process will include removing some of the engine plastic shielding. Any special info I should know about this process before I start? Thanks for any advice.

The procedure is in the Service Manual DVD mentioned in a thread started by Wolfgang. That DVD is well worth the price. I recommend getting it.

If you can't get it, I can look it up on my copy; and forward the info.

Here You Go

Here's how. Be careful in removing the first front trim piece. As stated, it's very easy to break the clips. Ask me how I know.
