The coolers behind the grill is oilcooler for the engine and a big intercooler for my om617a with holset turbo and mynä-modifyed diesel pump.

So you have had your pump modified in Finland? What was the cost and what was done? Bigger injectors? Do you have any dyno results from the engine?

The pump is modifyed with 7mm IP's and outside adjustment for alda and max. Since i am testing different turbos, and i am not pleased yet i have not tested the car on the dyno. But one thing is for sure... There is a lot of power The cost was about 1000euros

Mynä-Diesel is well known shop here that does a lot of diesel pump modifications for MB diesels. The old 3ltr engines have been boosted to over 400 hp in many cases.

Re: Found some pictures from this summer

A friend of mine has a S123 300TDT with a Mynä-pump in it. When he first test-ran it he told me; "I have never seen so many shades of smoke, it's like a water-color painting done with only black and white, it's beautiful".
The stone age MB diesels have a huge power overhead. They might need a rebuild after 500K km instead of 600K km but thats a fair tradeoff I think.

It is insane power yes... You need the pump from 617, not 617a. The original IP's are 5,5mm in diameter. (IP=pump element) But you need to be carefull. I have broken one engine. I was running 2bar turbopressure, no egt and no intercooler. It is imporant to know what you're doing.

The price is aboute 1000 euros for the job.

Don´t quote me but I think you can modify the 617a pump too, but the 617 is much better and easier to modify. At least this is what I recall having heard.

Yes you can modify the 617a pump too, but there is no 7mm elements available for the MW-pump. That is why you need an M-pump from 617.
