So you have had your pump modified in Finland? What was the cost and what was done? Bigger injectors? Do you have any dyno results from the engine? | |

What was the cost and what was done? Bigger injectors? Do you have any dyno results from the engine? The pump is modifyed with 7mm IP's and outside adjustment for alda and max. Since i am testing different turbos, and i am not pleased yet i have not tested the car on the dyno. But one thing is for sure... Mynä-Diesel is well known shop here that does a lot of diesel pump modifications for MB diesels. The old 3ltr engines have been boosted to over 400 hp in many cases. | |

You need the pump from 617, not 617a. The original IP's are 5,5mm in diameter. (IP=pump element) But you need to be carefull. I have broken one engine. I was running 2bar turbopressure, no egt and no intercooler. It is imporant to know what you're doing. The price is aboute 1000 euros for the job. | |
