As well as much tyre-kicking and camp-site chewing-of-fat, the 8 Mogs (along with an IVECO, a Land Rover, Lada and dirt-bike) spent a day at a nearby quarry playing in the mud. Here are a few piccies:

How steep was that slope in the 4th pic? I couldn't walk up it - I had to use my hands to grab tufts of grass and branches etc. and then it was difficult. I stood at the top and saw the Mog position himself at the bottom. I thought: no point getting the video camera ready - I don't want to waste film on what will obviously be a failed attempt at an impossibly steep hill. And then he climbed the sucker! I just stood there with my mouth open, dumbstruck. After a few seconds I managed to shout a couple of expletives, but the Mog was already gone - after the next challenge.
