I would get MT+ or Firestone Destination MT...i am now leaning towards Firestone Destination MT in the next few weeks (265/75/16).

we have a firestone store in town. I stopped in there and spoke with them a few weeks ago, and they said the destination MT was not ment to be a true street tire. The store said they will sale them if i want them but not to expect more than 15K miles if that out if the tread. i have no idea if this is true or not, however i have never seen a set on the road around here.

Everyone with a true dual purpose truck or suv has BFG muds, or Good year wrangler MTR. There are a lot of procomp muds showing up too.

RE: Yokohama Geolandar M/T on sale cheap

Geo M/T is old tire. They now have M/T plus.

Many of my friends have M/T plus but they all say those tire are very noisy compared to other MT tires. I've also had a chance to talk to guys in developing team from Yokohama tire and they admit M/T plus are noisy. This is mainly due to the large block and harder compound.

Geo A/T-S is such a nice tire!!! I did test drive these tires on new 4 runner. These tires are super quiet. Almost no noice at all. I have BS duler A/T on my Zuk but these seems noisy compared to Geo A/T-S. Ride was super nice too.
