| 1980's G Wagen at corner of Chestnut and Fillmore in SF, who was it???
Yesterday I was at the corner of chestnut and fillmore in SF and I saw a mid 80's G-Wagen with BBS wheels and a vanity plate, i think it was "YCFB 18". I tried to catch up but wasnt going to race down lombard to do it. Who of us was it, I'd like to know!!! |

The real question is would you ask the same question if it was parked on Polk and Pine Streets.

well in california, they are probably only about 40 CA smog legal 1980's 280GE's...so ya, i do figure he/she is probably on this board. |

Have you all checked with the Yolo County Farm Bureau (YCFB) in Woodland, CA (just north of the Bay area)? |

Funny you just said that, I live in Sacramento, went to college at UC Davis and Woodland is about a 20 minute drive. I knew I had seen YCFB before and now it makes sense, we own a ranch out there. I'll ask a buddy of mine whose family farms out there, he is prolly a member and could find out for me. Good looking out, thanks!!! |

I'd say 10% of the time i see a g-wagen i know who's it is. There's not many around here... and i can easily go a week or two without seeing one. |

In a somewhat similar situation, I maybe see a Gwagen once every month (otherwise, the time span is more). And in most cases, I DO NOT know who it is. I only know two people in this area who have a G. Both are 2002 or higher MBUSA G500s. I know no one else with a 460 G. |
