I don't like it when they're parked on a hard surface with the diff locks engaged. And what's with the washing line?

RE: Puch G on eBay

The little G looks like it could use some TLC because it is a wee bit rough. Used to be a gasser by the 230 G badge. I'm also liking the toggle switch and tractor glow plug indicator on the dash console.

Re: Puch G on eBay

I am sure it is not imported from Germany, because it has Polish registration plates.

I thinking you would buy it for parts since you are the only one I know who has a red SWB Puch G.  Just kidding!  Just kidding!

No seriously, I guess I should have been a bit more specific when I posted this.  What is the purpose of those lines from the front of roof to the bullbar corners?  I have seen lines like that on Land Rovers.  And on 460 Gs, I do not ever recall seeing before the crossbars behind the driver's and passenger's front seats on a Cabrio.

They're to reduce the effect of overhanging branches slapping your windscreen.

I talked with the guy and he seems nice but a sales weenie. Talked about shipping costs and transport in Germany and all and how that makes the car worth so much as it is hard to get them here...
It will be interesting to see what it goes for..
More then 5 or 6 K then it is not anyone from here...

Re: Puch G on eBay

It seems to be a lot of money, but I think it is still better than fair price. Such Cabrio costs about 5000 Euro/6000 USD in Europe, even when it is in far form perfect condition. With shipping costs about 3000 USD(including transport of the vehicle to the port. about 0,30 Euro for km) I dont even see where is the sellers profit.

Wow!  The last I saw was sometime lastnight at $5500.  So another early 460 pushes into the $9000 realm.

Re: Puch G on eBay

The guy who bought it seems to buy sell MB as well as other (BMW) car mc things. I would hope he did his homework. If he wants to flip this thing he may be in trouble.
I love Gwagon but hate people selling things they have no clue about or lie about.
