I was in this shop near Graz last Fall. It is not a military G. It is his buildup to make one like it. |

It is quite available for a long time now. Seems, that most enthusiasts "want" such a car, but when there is a chance to get one, it is too expensive for them.

They got two of them. One is a 97 or 98 290 GDT, a civilian car looking like a military. The other one is this 270 CDI, and I think is a real thing. One crashed military 270 CDI with about 3000 kms was for sale on mobile.de last winter for about 35000 euro. It had damaged right fender and flare, right headlight, signallight and radiator grill. I think this is the same car after a repair.

This one doesn't look right to me
