desperately need body mount part no

EPC is very confusing on this item - lower body mount for early G VIN 46033227023247. It appears that the item is Item #5 on the EPC part no A4603170212 however this part is listed as no available on www.mbparts.ru. Has anyone purchased this item before - see picture. Note item #3 is what it should be but EPC this is not valid for my VIN.

RE: desperately need body mount part no

EPC also lists 460.317.01.12 for item #5 on chassis #s up to 27800, and then lists that same # for chassis over 27800.  My guess from all this is that the lower rubber of all body mounts have been superseeded by the 01.12 number.  Try that one.

maybe a dumb question but.....

Does that one you bought FIT in place as the lower rubber? If it does, then I think it's a darned fine idea of them to lower cost and parts proliferation by consolidating to a single part number for both rubbers.  The lower one has a relatively easy life and almost anything would work there.  So I say if it fits, then use it.

RE: desperately need body mount part no

Hi Peter,

The new part number is A 461 317 0012.

Sorry for the delay.  Our guys in Germany were away from the office yesterday due to a day off there.

Have fun,

BTW whats even more confusing are the washers ! According to the diagram I only have items 16 and 14 . What is actually there is item 29,26 and 14.
Becaus eof all this confusion I am going to have washers made to avoid any furthur delays in getting my G back on the road.
