I have seen a lot of stupid things, but this must be one of the Top10. Somebody invested a great amount of money to destroy a very expensive car.

I am just lost for words at the moment. With that much weight on that span (long) of a wheelbase, I wonder what they did to make the frame strong and rigid. And will the wheels/suspension support that? Overall in my opinion, this is just as bad as blinging out a G. Someone had too much money to waste.

I know that Mercedes has made a lot of beautiful limos before. I cannot tell if the frame came from the factory, or was done after-the-fact. Everything on the interior was NOT done by Mercedes. It looks like a typical aftermarket job, not very good quality (as you would expect from a Mercedes limo). I know that there was an option (usually done with the armored G-Wagons) that would replace the long rear seat with captain's chairs (that only seats two). I would like to see one of those setups. I am sure that it was very comfortable....

It mentions "owner has to sell the car due to financial situation" probably from creating this thing or fueling it up! With the extra weight I wonder what his mileage is?.

Ugly is right. However, i think G-wagens in concept make great limos becuase the headroom makes it much easier to get around inside one. I've always thought limo's are strange, and SUV limo's the strangest, until you see a standard sedan limo high centered on a "average" street in S.F. Then an SUV limo suddenly has a very useful purpose of getting place on road that other limo's can't. I still think limo's are wierd, but as far as Limo's go, i think the g-wagen is a good choice, accept for the poor front wheel bearings. The strength of the g-wagen frame compared to most vehicles, and the flat windows actually makes it a good candidate for a stretching. Edited by ewalberg 1/19/2007 2:00 PM

Around here I see Excursion,Hummer and Escalade limo conversions and the G by far is the least ugliest... Which is a quality I look for in women also. Mike

Twodogs No your not,I expect you thought of the same ones as I did,but you can't use words like that on the forum! That chassis must be so stiff, imagine what would happen to those side windows if you bumped up or down a kerb, and the body flexed slightly. Which way would the windows go,in or out? VonEpp - 1/19/2007 6:28 PM I would much prefer one of these actually, Brabus GV12 long-wheel-base. sorry,it is a AMG, you still can order the long version directly from AMG - a long station with the back from the short wheelbase. i am wondering why all stretched cars looks simular in their middle with the sidelights, windows etc. here is a sample of a profesional made limo wich looks like stock: http://www.binz-limousine.de/de/galerie.php?id=1.3.1 Edited by Mick 1/19/2007 7:27 PM
