FWIW, in Europe, you have to use a different link. It was posted on the GWOA website.

Dutch,

Why would us Europeans have to use a different link? Is it because the VIN of European G's would not work with this US based online EPC?

TIA,

I can't answer that question. I can only tell you that, when I first found the link (and I can't find it now), it would not work for those of us not located outside of the US.

I would try the US link. It might work for you now.

To use the Euro Version of the EPC, you must have an Euro based credit card with which to purchase the annual subscription to the EPCnet.

From what everyone is saying, the two systems carry the same information.  Although, I have not personally confirmed this.

Did you purchase a subscription to the Euro EPCnet in Germany or the MBUSA version?

RE: EPC Online

I used this link...

Braingears - 1/26/2007 5:50 AM

I finally took the plunge and subscribed to the EPC Online at
http://www.Startekinfo.com/epc

It cost $24, and I thought "what the hell". I not have both the older EPC and now the online EPC.

Most of the diagrams are nearly identical. The way that it identifies the parts, and keeps track of them are very different. I like the fact that I am getting the most up-to-date part numbers and replacement numbers. The online version runs totally on JAVA, and I had no problem running it from the very start. It's a little slower than the version that I have loaded on my computer, but what can you expect...

If any of you plan to work on your own truck, or even learn more about the componets of your truck, I would highly recommend getting this.

Re: INCREDIBLE NEWS - EPC SUBSCRIPTION NOW ONLY $24

It a real bummer DC wont let people outside US/ Europe subscribe to EPC. Us "outsiders" just have to battle on with poor DC service as per usual !
