My running boards have many fine scratches in them from folks getting in and out of the truck. Any way to polish these out. I know this is rather frivelous but It's a new toy and I want it to look pristine! Thank you. | ||

Probably something like glass polish (tooth paste and a soft cloth might work), followed by a good coat of wax or synthetic polish. | ||

I used strips of 3m paint protection plastic. The strips were the whole length of the running board. Very easy to install since each strip was narrow. Had it on since the G was new. No Scratches. Perfect. Can't even see it. Bought it from www.xpel.com and cut it myself. If you already have minor scratches, it will most likely hide them very well. Edited by 03-Gwagen 1/31/2007 7:55 AM | ||
