Windshield flip

My windshield has an annoying stone chip as well as some scraches in my field of vision. My question is since the G windshield is basically flat couldn't I simply have it flipped to where the the stone chip side would be the passenger sides inside. I believe that both sides of the sandwiched glass are made of the same material.

Your thoughts

Thanks
Mark

Probably, provided that you can get it out without breaking it.
